16-Year-Old Arrested in Harrisburg Teen's Shooting

A 16-year-old, identified as Jeremiah Moran, has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old student in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on Friday (May 29) at approximately 3:15 p.m. near North Sixth and Emerald Streets, as the victim was getting off a school bus.

Moran admitted to the shooting. Authorities have charged him with first-degree murder, and he faces two additional firearms-related charges. Despite being a juvenile, Moran will be tried as an adult under Pennsylvania state law. He is currently held without bail in Dauphin County Prison.

Police obtained video evidence allegedly showing Moran shooting the victim with a handgun. However, they have not disclosed whether Moran knew the victim or revealed a possible motive for the shooting. The victim's identity remains undisclosed as the investigation continues.
