Baby Injured In Lancaster County Crash

A baby girl sustained minor injuries after a vehicle crash in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday night (May 26). The incident occurred near the intersection of East 28th Division Highway and Hershey Road, when a speeding vehicle struck a utility pole and tree, causing the engine block to dislodge and crash into a nearby home. The engine block overturned a toy bin, which then struck the 11-month-old girl on the head.

According to WHP, the child was taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuries. The vehicle's driver was also hospitalized for evaluation. The crash resulted in a lane restriction on East 28th Division Highway while emergency crews responded to the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash, suspecting that the vehicle was traveling at a high speed before the incident. No charges have been filed yet, and the investigation is ongoing. The scene was cleared by 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.
