The identity of a man found dead in Londonderry Township, Pennsylvania, has been confirmed as Oleksandr Hurianov. His body was discovered on Saturday morning (May 23) with multiple stab wounds and severe head trauma along the 1800 block of River Road. Hurianov worked for a California-based trucking company, New Route Inc., and was partnered with Ilia Romanchenko, who has been charged in his death.

Authorities allege that Romanchenko, 25, of Roseville, California, murdered Hurianov and left his body on the roadside. The police received a call from Hurianov's wife on Saturday night reporting him missing for about 10 hours. GPS data from the truck showed it stopped for about five minutes at the location where Hurianov's body was found. Surveillance footage from a nearby Royal Farms convenience store showed Romanchenko exiting the truck and entering the store with visible injuries on his hands.

Romanchenko was arrested in Miami after flying there from Philadelphia early Sunday morning. He is facing charges of criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, possessing an instrument of crime, and tampering with evidence. Romanchenko is currently awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania for his preliminary arraignment.

The Dauphin County District Attorney, Fran Chardo, confirmed the charges and noted that Romanchenko was suspected of attempting to flee the country. The investigation continues as authorities gather more evidence related to the case.
