A crash in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, on Monday (May 18) left four people injured after two vehicles collided, causing a telephone pole to break and catch fire. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Thompson Avenue in North Annville Township around 7:15 a.m.

According to the North Annville Fire Company, emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the telephone pole on fire, raising concerns that the nearby barn might also catch fire. Fortunately, additional crews determined the barn was safe. The status of the four individuals' injuries remains unknown, and the crash is under investigation by the Cleona Borough Police Department.

WGAL reported that the crash led to the closure of Thompson Avenue between Cedar Run and Helmandale roads, with drivers advised to use alternate routes. Multiple EMS units were called to the scene, but it is unclear how many people were transported for medical treatment.

As reported by ABC27, traffic on East Main Street in Annville Township was temporarily affected, but has since reopened. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
