Teen Arrested for Allegedly Bringing Gun to Lancaster Mall

A 16-year-old boy is facing multiple charges after allegedly bringing a gun to Park City Mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night (May 9). According to Lancaster City Police, mall security reported a group of five juveniles inside the mall, one of whom was believed to have a firearm.

Officers responded promptly and located one of the juveniles while another attempted to flee. The police apprehended the fleeing suspect and discovered a firearm discarded in a trash can. ABC27 reported that two other juveniles were identified and detained during the investigation, but no additional firearms were found.

The teenager is charged with several offenses, including possession of a firearm by a minor, carrying a firearm without a license, and evading arrest. The police are continuing their investigation and urge anyone with information to contact the Lancaster City Bureau of Police at 717-735-3300.
