Authorities Seek Man Hit by Vehicle in Dauphin County

Authorities in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, are searching for a man who was struck by a vehicle on Saturday (May 2) afternoon. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Fishburn and Hartley Roads in Derry Township. According to police, the man, described as a white male in his 30s with a beard, was hit while crossing Fishburn Road. Despite the impact, he got up and continued walking toward the Glen Acres development.

The driver involved in the incident has been identified, but the man who was hit has not yet been located. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Derry Township Police Department at 717-534-2202. Officer Nick Kauffman is handling the case, and anonymous tips can be submitted online.

The police are keen to speak with the man as part of their ongoing investigation. They have also requested the public's assistance in sharing any details, no matter how small, that could aid in locating him. It remains unclear whether the driver will face any charges related to the incident.
