A 15-year-old boy was found dead following a shooting near Penn Park in York County, Pennsylvania, late Tuesday (May 5). The York City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 10:14 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the teenager had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
This incident marks the second homicide investigation by York City Police in less than a week. Earlier, on Friday (May 1), 31-year-old Nidair Jordon Collier was killed after suffering multiple gunshot wounds and sharp force trauma.
The police are actively investigating the recent shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
