Authorities in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred within a span of about five hours. The first incident took place near Fourth and Muench Streets around 8 p.m. on Sunday night (May 3), and the second occurred on the 1900 block of North Fifth Street at approximately 1 a.m. on Monday morning (May 4).
Although no injuries were reported in either incident, multiple homes sustained damage from gunfire. The Harrisburg Police Department is actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation. Anyone with details is encouraged to contact them.
The shootings come amid ongoing investigations into other violent incidents in the area. According to FOX43, Harrisburg Police are also looking into a homicide that occurred on April 14 at the same intersection of Fourth and Muench Streets. The victim, identified as 26-year-old Omari Wilson Jr., died from multiple gunshot wounds, and the case has been ruled a homicide.
The police have charged two suspects, Teriq Coleman and Aaron Hurtt, with murder and related offenses in connection with Wilson's death. Both suspects remain at large, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
