Two parents from Grantville, Pennsylvania, have been charged following the tragic death of their newborn son and the neglect of their daughter. Martin Joseph Deimler, 34, and Connie Marie Deimler, 37, face two felony counts each of endangering the welfare of children. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the couple's six-day-old son died in December 2025 due to a lack of medical care. The incident occurred at their home on Webster School Road in East Hanover Township.
The investigation, which began after troopers were called to assist EMS on Friday, December 12, 2025, also revealed that the Deimlers' daughter, who was living with her aunt, showed signs of nutritional and medical neglect. The charges were approved by the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and criminal complaints were filed the following day. The cases are currently active and awaiting preliminary hearings before Magisterial District Judge David R. Warner Jr.
According to Daily Voice, the charges against the parents highlight the severity of neglect that led to the infant's death. The community is closely following the case as it progresses through the legal system.
