Pittsburgh Hosts The Draft Parties with Steelers Legends

Pittsburgh is buzzing with excitement as it hosts a series of NFL Draft parties, bringing together football fans and Steelers legends. The festivities kick off on Thursday (April 23) with the "DVE Rocks the Draft" event aboard the Gateway Clipper. Attendees will enjoy live music, unlimited food, and draft coverage while sailing the Three Rivers. The event features performances by local artists like Joe Grushecky and Chris Higbee and appearances by former Steelers, including Louis Lipps and Rod Woodson. The event is hosted by Chad Tyson of WDVE and includes a dock party with DJ Bonics and photo opportunities with Bret Michaels and Steelers alumni. More details can be found on the Gateway Clipper website.

Simultaneously, the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square will host "The Pick Is In" Legends Draft Party, benefiting Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors. This event features a tailgate dinner, draft coverage, and Q&A sessions with Steelers greats like Rocky Bleier and Pat Freiermuth. Emcees Rob King and Randy Baumann will guide the evening, and all ticket revenue will support local veterans and their families. More information is available on the iHeartMedia website.

The celebrations continue on Friday (April 24) with "Here We Go: Draft Night After Hours" at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel. Fans can watch the second and third-round picks while enjoying entertainment from DJ Winston and mingling with current and former Steelers players like Alex Highsmith and Casey Hampton. The party will last as long as the Steelers are on the clock for the third round. Proceeds from this event also benefit Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors. More details can be found on the event page.
