Lancaster City police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place on Saturday (April 18) at the intersection of West King Street and Marion Street. The suspect, described as a male between 18 and 25 years old, was riding an e-bike the wrong way when he collided with a female pedestrian.
According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, the rider fell off the e-bike and landed on the victim before fleeing the scene without alerting emergency services. The suspect was last seen heading down South Water Street, wearing a dark red hat, jacket, and dark pants.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Her current condition remains unknown. Police have stated that the suspect will face charges of an accident involving death or personal injury once apprehended.
