A former Harrisburg-area reverend, Michael McMullen, is facing additional charges after a third person accused him of sexual abuse. The 68-year-old was charged with felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, and other related charges. According to the criminal complaint filed by Harrisburg Police, the latest alleged victim claims McMullen began abusing her when she was between 9 and 10 years old. The abuse reportedly occurred at his home and at Bethel AME Church.

McMullen had previously been charged in February with sex crimes following allegations of abusing two girls in Susquehanna Township. The First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, where McMullen preached, stated that they are cooperating with law enforcement and maintain a "zero-tolerance policy for sexual misconduct."

The criminal complaint indicates that the victim and her father reported the abuse to authorities, but the investigation was sent to an outside jurisdiction due to a conflict. The outcome of that investigation has not been disclosed. McMullen is awaiting arraignment on the new charges.

Harrisburg Police urge anyone with information or who may have been a victim to contact them. Read more from ABC27.
