Authorities have released details about a crash involving a UPS truck in Lancaster County that occurred on March 27. According to the Lititz Borough Police Department, the incident took place on the 200 block of North Cedar Street in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
A Chrysler sedan was traveling northbound when a UPS truck pulled out from East New Street, causing a collision. The Chrysler struck the driver's side of the UPS truck and then continued forward, crashing into the front porch of a nearby home. The driver of the Chrysler was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated for neck pain.
The UPS truck sustained moderate damage but was still drivable, while the Chrysler suffered severe damage and required towing. The driver of the UPS truck was cited for a stop sign violation, as he failed to see the approaching Chrysler sedan.
The Lititz Borough Police continue to monitor the situation, ensuring the safety of the community and maintaining traffic regulations.
