Police Seek 30 in Hersheypark Brawl Investigation

Authorities in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, are investigating a large brawl that occurred during Hersheypark's opening day on Friday (April 3). According to the Derry Township Police Department, officers are seeking up to 30 persons of interest in connection with the incident, which involved multiple groups of teenagers.

The fight broke out around 6:50 p.m., prompting a response from officers across multiple departments to assist Hersheypark security in restoring order. As reported by Local 21 News, the altercation led to the arrest of two juveniles and one adult, while several others were ejected from the park.

Derry Township Police Chief Garth Warner stated that officers quickly controlled the situation and are now reviewing information to identify additional individuals involved. Possible charges include misdemeanor assault and inciting a riot. Warner also noted that there were no reported injuries among those involved or other park patrons.

The incident caused only minor disruptions to park operations, and normal activities resumed shortly after. CBS21 reported that Hersheypark emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for such behavior, stating that those who violate the policy will not be welcome on the property.

The investigation continues as police urge anyone with information to contact the Derry Township Police Department. PennLive added that officers from surrounding municipalities and the Pennsylvania State Police were also involved in the response.
