One Hurt in Ephrata Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle crash in Lancaster County's West Cocalico Township sent one person to the hospital Tuesday (March 10) afternoon, according to emergency dispatchers.

According to CBS 21 News, the crash was reported around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Steinmetz and Kline roads in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the rider to the hospital. The extent of the driver's injuries is not yet known.

WGAL News 8 reports that dispatchers did not confirm whether any other vehicles were involved in the crash. The intersection was closed for roughly an hour following the wreck but has since reopened to traffic.

Ephrata Borough police are leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
