A 59-year-old man from Lykens, Pennsylvania, is facing criminal charges after state police say he urinated on a bank of slot machines at a Dauphin County casino — in full view of other guests.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident happened on Friday (January 31) at the Hollywood Casino, located at 777 Hollywood Boulevard in Grantville. Troopers say the man exposed himself and urinated on a row of slot machines while other casino guests were standing nearby.

Surveillance video captured the incident, which helped troopers identify the suspect. Police have not publicly released the man's name or the specific charges filed against him.

When officers moved to arrest him, the man reportedly denied any wrongdoing and, according to state police, "became physically resistant." Troopers believe he was intoxicated at the time. He was taken to Dauphin County Booking, where charges were filed.

Casino.org notes that most public urination cases are handled as municipal ordinance violations, typically resulting in fines between $500 and $750. However, the man's alleged resistance during arrest is a more serious matter. In Pennsylvania, intentionally preventing a police officer from making a lawful arrest is a second-degree misdemeanor, which carries a possible prison sentence of up to two years and fines of up to $5,000.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course is a large entertainment complex located just outside of Harrisburg. It features more than 1,500 slot machines, 42 table games, a sportsbook, live horse racing, and 10 restaurants and bars. The property is operated by Penn Entertainment.

The case remains active, and police have not yet announced a court date for the unnamed suspect.
