Two men from Martinsburg, West Virginia, are behind bars in Cumberland County after a child abducted earlier Tuesday (March 3) was safely recovered at a Carlisle truck stop, police say.

According to Middlesex Township Police, officers were dispatched just before noon Tuesday (March 3) to the Love's Truck Stop at 1165 Harrisburg Pike after receiving a report that a child had been abducted from Martinsburg, West Virginia, earlier that day.

Officers located the child safely at the truck stop and arrested Jacob Evilsizor, 43, who was found with the child at the scene. During their investigation, police also "encountered" Charles Delossantos, 47, who was wanted in connection with the same abduction. Both men are from Martinsburg.

As reported by PennLive, Middlesex Township Police charged each man with one count of fugitive from justice. The charges stem from the child abduction in West Virginia earlier that day.

Both Evilsizor and Delossantos were taken to Cumberland County Prison following their arraignments. The child's name and age were not included in the police report.

Court documents from West Virginia were not immediately available for either man as of Wednesday (March 4). It remains unclear whether additional charges from West Virginia authorities are pending.
