Teen Killed In Cumberland County Bicycle Crash Identified

The Dauphin County Coroner's Office has identified a 15-year-old girl killed in a bicycle crash in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania earlier this month.

Ariel Willever, a resident of Shippensburg, was riding her bicycle along Cleversburg Road in Southampton Township on Sunday (February 15) when she entered the intersection at Cleversburg and Baltimore Roads without stopping and was struck by a passing vehicle. Local 21 News reported, the driver of the vehicle did not have a stop sign at the intersection.

Willever suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was airlifted to Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she later died. The coroner ruled her death accidental.

Local 21 News reported that the Dauphin County Coroner released the teen's identity following an investigation into the crash. Pennsylvania State Police at Carlisle are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
