Police Investigate Sexual Assault at Dauphin County Restaurant

Swatara Township police are investigating a reported sexual assault at El Rancho Restaurante y Pupuseria on Eisenhower Boulevard in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The incident allegedly occurred early Monday morning around 2:09 a.m., according to Police Superintendent Thomas Stauffer.

The Mexican restaurant has remained closed since the incident. Reporters visiting the establishment on Tuesday and Wednesday found it not operating, though the reason for the closure hasn't been officially confirmed.

A now-deleted social media post from a woman identifying herself as a former employee claimed she was sexually assaulted by multiple men inside the restaurant. The post reportedly included photos of the woman and her injuries, as well as video showing police arriving at the scene.

CBS 21 News attempted to contact the restaurant multiple times for comment, but all calls went unanswered.

Authorities have confirmed the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time. The restaurant has a second location in Fairview Township, York County, which opened last year. No one answered phone calls at either establishment on Wednesday.
