13-Year-Old Girl Charged With Felony After Kicking Police Officer

A 13-year-old girl is facing serious legal consequences after allegedly kicking a police officer during a disturbance call in Palmyra, Pennsylvania.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (February 3) at approximately 9:47 p.m. when officers from the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department responded to a reported disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of East Cherry Street.

According to police reports, when officers arrived at the scene and made contact with the juvenile inside the home, she allegedly kicked one of the responding officers. The teen, who has not been identified due to her age, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, classified as a second-degree felony in Pennsylvania.

Local news outlets confirmed the girl was taken into custody following the incident. Court records indicate she is white and was arrested at the scene.

The case is being processed through the juvenile justice system in Lebanon County. Authorities have not released additional details about the nature of the original disturbance call or what led to the physical confrontation between the teen and the officer.
