A man who was lying in the road and undressing attacked a woman who stopped to help him, stole her car, and crashed it shortly afterward in Swatara Township, Pennsylvania.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (February 4) when 28-year-old **Mubarak Amin** of Carlisle was reported to be undressing and lying in the roadway near 32nd and Wayne streets, according to the Swatara Township Police Department.
Security footage from a neighbor appears to show Amin running in front of several vehicles before he began removing his clothes. When a female good Samaritan stopped to check on him, police say Amin "immediately began to attack the female and threw her to the ground."
The woman can be heard yelling "Get out of my car!" in the security footage as Amin allegedly stole her vehicle and sped away. Police reported that he crashed the car a short distance from the scene.
When a Swatara Township police K-9 handler arrived and gave verbal commands, Amin allegedly ignored them and "aggressively ran towards the officer" and the victim. At that point, he was apprehended by police K-9 Santi.
Amin now faces multiple charges including robbery of a motor vehicle, evading arrest or detention on foot, simple assault, and DUI. He remains at the Dauphin County Prison with bail set at $100,000, according to local reports.
