Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday night (January 13) in Columbia Borough, Lancaster County. Police responded to a call at 11:25 p.m. on the 300 block of Cherry Street, where they found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Lancaster General Hospital, but his current condition remains unknown.
According to Columbia Borough Police, the incident does not appear to be random, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Investigators are actively reviewing surveillance footage, collecting evidence, and interviewing potential witnesses.
