A fire at Amber Hill Mobile Home Park on Old Trail Road in Newberry Township, York County, left one person injured and five others displaced on Sunday (January 11). Firefighters responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. to find one mobile home engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to nearby homes.

Due to windy conditions and the close proximity of the homes, a second alarm was requested. Once the fire was brought under control, officials determined that five mobile homes had sustained damage, with two of them deemed uninhabitable. Four adults and one child have been displaced as a result of the fire, according to the Newberry Township Fire Department. One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
