A woman from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is facing charges after allegedly injuring someone by throwing a dog bone. According to Elizabethtown police, 54-year-old Debra Evans is accused of throwing the bone at a person on Thursday (December 29) in the 100 block of North Maple Street. The bone reportedly struck the victim in the back of the head, causing a cut and extensive bleeding.
Police also stated that Evans threw the bone a second time, hitting the victim's arm and causing redness and irritation. As a result, Evans has been charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Court records indicate that she is currently out on a $20,000 unsecured bail.
The incident has drawn attention in the local community, and further legal proceedings are expected as the case develops.
