Tomas Gomez-Gomez, a 25-year-old from Mexico, is facing deportation after allegedly crashing his car into a house in Penn Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, while intoxicated. The incident occurred on Tuesday (October 14) when Gomez-Gomez drove his 2016 Honda Civic into a home on North Penryn Road. He then fled the scene, leaving vehicle debris behind. Police later found him and his heavily damaged car on Doe Run Road, approximately two miles from the crash site.

According to LancasterOnline, Gomez-Gomez was too impaired to take a preliminary breath test and refused a chemical blood test. He has been charged with DUI and other related offenses, including driving without a license or insurance.

Gomez-Gomez waived his preliminary hearing on October 16, allowing the case to proceed to Lancaster County Court. He is currently held in Lancaster County Prison with a bail set at $50,000. Northern Lancaster County Regional Police confirmed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is involved due to Gomez-Gomez's lack of legal documentation.

The crash caused minor damage to the house, and fortunately, no one inside was injured. Gomez-Gomez's legal proceedings continue, and he faces potential deportation to Mexico.
