One person has died following a shooting in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Monday (October 20). The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near North 18th and Park Streets. Police responded to reports of shots fired and discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite receiving medical attention, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
According to CBS 21, witnesses reported that the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation between the shooter and the victim. The confrontation escalated when the shooter crossed the street and opened fire. A bystander attempted to assist the victim, but the shooter returned and fired additional shots.
The Harrisburg police have not yet identified the victim and are actively investigating the incident. They urge anyone with information to contact them at 717-558-6900. The community remains on alert as authorities continue their investigation.
