Eagles legend Jason Kelce has spoken out against fake quotes attributed to him regarding the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show featuring Bad Bunny. On Tuesday (October 14), Kelce clarified on his X account that any statements not coming directly from him should be considered false. The viral quote in question suggested that those criticizing Bad Bunny's fit for the Super Bowl were "a bad fit for America's future." Kelce, now an ESPN analyst, emphasized, "I normally don’t comment on things like this, but I feel I need to address that there are a number of accounts posting fake quotes and attributing them to me on this platform right now."

The controversy comes after the NFL announced Bad Bunny as the performer for Super Bowl LX, which has sparked debate. President Donald Trump criticized the choice, calling it "absolutely ridiculous," while others have questioned Bad Bunny's past comments about not touring in the U.S. due to ICE concerns.

Despite the backlash, Bad Bunny remains a popular figure, known for his music and cultural impact. He recently addressed critics during an appearance on "Saturday Night Live," expressing excitement about performing at the Super Bowl and highlighting the significance of his performance for the Latino community in the U.S.

Super Bowl LX is scheduled to take place on February 8, 2026, in Santa Clara, California.
