Man Charged After Stabbing Over Missing Beer Order

In Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 31-year-old Kyle Marshall is facing multiple charges after allegedly stabbing a man while searching for his beer delivery. The incident occurred early Saturday morning (September 27) at the Chestnut Pointe Apartments in Swatara Township. According to Swatara Township police, Marshall knocked on an apartment door looking for beer he ordered from a delivery service called Gopuff. When a female resident answered and told him to leave, Marshall allegedly forced his way inside.

Once inside, Marshall reportedly began rummaging through drawers and damaging property, including the kitchen table and refrigerator drawers. A man inside the apartment confronted Marshall, leading to a physical altercation. During the scuffle, Marshall allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the upper right thigh. The victim also suffered a laceration to his lower left abdomen and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Marshall has been charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use it, and criminal mischief. He was released from Dauphin County Prison after posting a $50,000 bail set by Magisterial District Judge Hanif Johnson Sr. Marshall is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on October 8.
