Iron Hill Brewery, a popular restaurant chain, has announced the closure of all its locations across the United States, including several in Pennsylvania. The decision comes after the company reportedly filed for bankruptcy. According to Local 21 CBS, an email from an anonymous staff member revealed the financial difficulties the company has faced, leading to this abrupt decision.
The company posted a message on social media Thursday morning (September 25), expressing gratitude to its customers and communities, stating it has been a "pleasure" to serve them. While the post did not specify the reasons for the closure, it mentioned hopes for a future return.
Iron Hill Brewery had a significant presence in Pennsylvania, with over ten locations, including a notable spot in Hershey. Other states affected by the closures include Delaware, Georgia, New Jersey, and South Carolina. Efforts to reach Iron Hill management for further details have been unsuccessful so far.
