Four individuals are displaced after a dump truck crashed into two homes in North Annville Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, early Tuesday morning (September 16). The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Clear Spring Road and Shanamantown Road, according to emergency dispatchers.
The dump truck, which was hauling sand, reportedly caused the homes to shift off their foundations by at least three feet. Fortunately, there were no significant injuries, although some residents suffered minor scrapes and bruises. The affected individuals are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross, and utilities have been shut off as a precaution.
Jestine Reider, the property owner, confirmed the extent of the damage and the displacement of the residents. The Cleona Borough Police Department is currently investigating the crash to determine the cause.
