Deadly Crash Victim Identified

Lancaster County officials have identified 19-year-old Gage Weaver as the victim of a fatal crash on Wednesday (August 13). The accident occurred on Martindale Road in Ephrata Township, Pennsylvania, around 4:55 p.m. Weaver, a resident of Denver, Pennsylvania, was driving a Ford Mustang eastbound when he lost control, sliding into the westbound lane. His vehicle collided with a Ford Econoline van driven by Mary Yoder-Desire, 42, of Ephrata. A Honda CRV, driven by Michael Mansi, 45, of Berwyn, was traveling behind the van and also collided with it.

Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple blunt force trauma injuries. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office ruled the death accidental. A passenger in the van sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a medical facility for evaluation.
