Man Wanted For Assaulting Two Outside Bar

Harrisburg police are actively searching for a man accused of assaulting two people outside the Mad Moose Tavern on Herr Street on July 3. The suspect allegedly attacked a man and a woman, leaving the man with a concussion and kicking the woman in the head. The incident was captured on surveillance video, which police are now reviewing as part of their investigation.

The female victim shared her experience, stating that the attack was unprovoked and occurred shortly after leaving the tavern. She described the moment her friend was knocked to the ground, and how the suspect later attacked her as she tried to help. "We were just having a good conversation, and then my friend is lying on the floor," she said. The woman also reported that she suffered injuries, including difficulty walking and bandages covering her wounds.

Initially, the victim expressed frustration with the police response, claiming that officers had not viewed the surveillance footage or taken her concerns seriously. However, the Harrisburg Police Bureau has since received the video and launched an investigation. They urge anyone with information about the suspect to contact them at 717-558-6900 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.

The victim has called for the suspect to be held accountable, and police have assured the public that they are working diligently to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for the assault. As the investigation continues, authorities have asked for patience, emphasizing that it may take time to reach a resolution.
