A field fire broke out in York County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday (July 23) afternoon, but no injuries were reported. The fire began when a piece of farm equipment caught fire on the 700 block of Whisler Road in Newberry Township.

According to the Newberry Township Fire Department, the fire quickly spread to the surrounding field. Crews from the Newberry Township Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving the first call at 4:25 p.m. They were joined by the Newberry Township Police Department to manage the situation.

The fire was successfully extinguished, and the scene was cleared by 6:25 p.m.

The quick response by the fire department ensured that the blaze was contained within a couple of hours, preventing further damage or injury.
