(York County, PA) -- A bomb squad shows up at a shopping center in York County on Sunday after authorities say two items resembling live grenades were found in a donation basket. Officials say the devices were discovered in a bin at the Newberry Commons Shopping Plaza along with other explosive-related literature. The State Police Hazardous Device and Explosives Unit was called to the scene, which determined the items were inert. Authorities are reminding residents to look up which items are acceptable to donate before placing them in the bins.
