Woman Accused Of Making, Canceling Hundreds Of Hotel Reservations

(Cumberland County, PA) -- A woman is facing felony charges for allegedly making hundreds of reservations at a hotel in Cumberland County then canceling them. Authorities said 52-year-old Taryn Dixon canceled more than 400 bookings at the Comfort Suites on Hanover Street in Carlisle, costing the hotel over two-thousand-dollars. Dixon was arrested earlier this month and reportedly not to make any more reservations, but allegedly made 96 more the following weekend. She is charged with theft and unlawful use of a computer.
