Mountain Fire Burns Multiple Acres in Franklin County, PA

First responders were called to a mountain fire in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, on Thursday (March 20). The blaze was reported on the 4000 block of Force Hill Road in Lurgan Township. According to the Franklin Fire Company, the fire spread across multiple acres, but no injuries have been reported so far.

The fire department has issued a "Do Not Burn" warning for the coming days due to the forecasted sunny skies, wind, and temperatures reaching 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents are urged to refrain from burning and to stay clear of the affected area.

Local 21 News reported that a special unit is on the scene to manage the brush fire. Meanwhile, ABC27 News noted that another fire in the South Mountain area has been contained.
