Lancaster Man Faces Murder Charge for Girlfriend's Death in Virginia

A Lancaster County man, Frank Monte, has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Tina Ruby, in Virginia. Ruby, 56, was found dead on January 13 on a roadway in Clarksville, Virginia. Monte, 58, was indicted by a Virginia jury in February and faces additional charges related to firearms and drug possession.

Authorities reported that Ruby's body was discovered on the 400 block of Bonanza Trail around 9:06 p.m. Officers collected evidence and interviewed witnesses for approximately four hours, leading to Monte's arrest on February 19. According to FOX43, Monte and Ruby were in a relationship at the time of her death.

The cause of Ruby's death has not yet been determined, as her body was sent to the Medical Examiner for further examination. Monte's trial is scheduled to begin on April 14, as reported by Local 21 News. This case is still developing, and more details are expected to emerge as the trial approaches.
