A man has been arrested in connection with the homicide of Jorge Morales, whose body was found in a vehicle at Paxtang Cemetery in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Frankelin Franco-Colome, a 29-year-old resident of Harrisburg, has been charged with criminal homicide for the death of the 61-year-old Morales.
On January 28, Swatara Township police responded to an assault report on Paxton Street, where they discovered blood and reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby business. The video showed an assault occurring the previous night, during which Morales was stabbed by Franco-Colome. Both individuals left the scene in Morales' vehicle, which was later found at the cemetery with Morales deceased inside, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The investigation led police to Bellevue Towers on Market Street, where Franco-Colome was identified through a key fob used to enter the building. A knife handle matching the blade found in Morales was retrieved from a nearby creek. Franco-Colome was arrested on February 4 and is being held at Dauphin County Prison without bail due to the severity of the charges.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Swatara Township Police at 717-564-2550.
WGAL and ABC27 provided details on the arrest and investigation.
