Mother, Son Arrested in Lancaster Shooting Incident

A Lancaster mother, Lindsay Colon, 39, and her teenage son, Amari Poole, 15, were arrested on Friday (January 10) in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on December 13, 2024, on the 400 block of Green Street. Both face multiple felony charges, including aggravated assault and carrying a firearm without a license. Poole, charged as an adult, also faces charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and possession of a firearm by a minor.

According to ABC27, the incident involved shots fired at a man standing on his porch, though no one was injured. The Lancaster City Bureau of Police identified Colon and Poole as suspects after weeks of investigation. A third suspect, 17-year-old Willito Colon, was arrested on the day of the incident. He faces similar charges, including aggravated assault and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

During the arrests, another 15-year-old was taken into custody on unrelated charges, as reported by Lancaster Crime Watch. Both Poole and the unrelated juvenile were committed to the Youth Intervention Center, while Lindsay Colon was held at Lancaster County Prison on a $20,000 bail.

The investigation continues, and all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
