The search is ongoing for **Lateef Phoenix**, a 38-year-old man wanted for the murder of **Darius Stukes** in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Stukes, aged 34, was fatally shot on November 2 near Hunter and Nectarine streets. Authorities urge anyone with information on Phoenix's whereabouts to contact the Harrisburg Bureau of Police.
According to court documents, Phoenix allegedly picked up Stukes from his home in York County the night before the incident. They met two women and went to the Political Club in Harrisburg, where Phoenix stayed outside due to being barred from entry. One woman reported that Stukes had a satchel with marijuana and was offering it to club patrons.
After leaving the club, Phoenix drove the group to Nectarine and Swatara streets. He reportedly ordered one woman out of the car, and Stukes insisted on walking her home. The woman heard a gunshot and Stukes asking, "What did I do?" She fled but later saw Stukes on the ground. The second woman, who stayed in the car, witnessed Phoenix approach Stukes and heard multiple gunshots before Phoenix returned to the vehicle and drove them to a home on Rolleston Street.
The second woman stated that Phoenix attempted to "wipe" two cellphones he later gave her and apologized for involving her in the incident. Phoenix's behavior was described as erratic.
The Harrisburg Bureau of Police continues to search for Phoenix. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
