Two juvenile males in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, are facing multiple charges for allegedly creating AI deepfake images of female students at Lancaster Country Day School. The boys are accused of altering hundreds of images to make the students appear nude. According to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, the charges include one count of criminal conspiracy and 59 counts each of sexual abuse of children, dissemination of photographs, and possession of child pornography. The charges were filed in the juvenile system.

A total of 60 female victims were identified, with 48 being students at Lancaster Country Day School. The images were primarily sourced from the victims’ social media profiles and altered digitally. The boys reportedly exchanged these images in a private chat room on Discord. The activity came to light in November 2023 when one of the images was shared in another chat with students from the school.

District Attorney Heather Adams commented on the case, stating, "The number of victims involved in this case is troubling, and the trauma that they have endured in learning that their privacy has been violated in this manner is unimaginable." She emphasized the harmful impact on the victims and assured that their voices would be heard as justice is pursued.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities encourage anyone with additional information or knowledge of other potential victims to contact Detective Laurel Bair at 717-426-1164 or via email at bairl@srpd27.com.
