The Central Penn College Men's Soccer team is making history as they prepare to compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship Tournament for the first time. The Knights secured their spot in the national tournament by winning the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) championship with an impressive 12-3 record.
The team's head coach, Brian Osborne, expressed his expectations for the upcoming tournament to ABC27. "They’re going to have to show some maturity and some discipline and just a fight,” Osborne said. “We’re going up against some giants and we’re going to see what we can do.”
The Knights will face off against Penn State New Kensington in their first match of the championship. The game is scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Montour Junction Sports Complex. This historic achievement marks a significant milestone for the Central Penn Men's Soccer team and sets a new standard for future seasons.
