A newly-purchased mobile home in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, was completely destroyed by a fire on Sunday morning (November 10). The fire occurred in the 100 block of Salem Church Road in Hampden Township. According to the Hampden Volunteer Fire Department, the fire broke out around 8 a.m. and engulfed the entire mobile home by the time crews arrived. The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes, but the home was deemed a total loss.

Officials reported that no one was home at the time of the fire. The mobile home had been purchased just two weeks prior, and the new owners were in the process of painting it. A nearby mobile home sustained minor damage due to the heat and flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet determined what sparked the blaze. Chief Dexter Owen of the Hampden Volunteer Fire Company confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
