York County Gives Update On Application Processing
(York, PA) -- York County election officials gave an update yesterday on the work to process thousands of voter registration applications received last week. The Board of Election says almost half of the applications have been approved, while about 24-percent were declined. They noted that most of declined forms were duplicate requests. The report comes after former president Donald Trump claimed on social media that the applications were all written by the same person. The county said any forms believed to be fraudulent will be referred to the District Attorney's Office.
