Spirit Halloween season is upon us.

The iconic spooky season-themed chain, selling wall-to-wall Halloween costumes beyond trick or treater's wildest dreams, has officially opened stores across the country, but that's not all.

Depending on which generation you were born in, you might remember the iconic chain keeping their doors open through December for Christmas.

That's right. Spirit Christmas is finally back after an 18 year hiatus, and they plan to open a few stores across Pennsylvania!

The stores first opened in 1990 with founder Joseph Marver referring to the concept as a "no brainer."

"The Christmas stores were just something I had to try since it wasn't difficult to add another two months to our three month lease. So it seemed like a no brainer to extend into Christmas."

Spirit Christmas stores eventually closed and were revived in 2005 and 2006, having ceased operations since. But this year, customers across the nation are getting two Spirit seasons!

If you're unfamiliar with the Spirit Christmas concept, a spokesperson for the chain explained to People what can be expected of the new store openings.

"Each store offers a unique shopping experience, brimming with a vast assortment of holiday décor, apparel, inflatables, gifts, and stocking stuffers. Guests can meet Santa for their annual Christmas card photo and receive a free digital postcard featuring you and Santa. Wander through the life-sized gingerbread village, where you can mail your letter to Santa at the North Pole and find out whether you’ve been naughty or nice."
