The BBC QUESTION TIME is coming to Philadelphia.

BBC One's flagship political debate program, Question Time, is set to host a US election special in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a key battleground state in the upcoming presidential election. The debate, chaired by Fiona Bruce, will be recorded at the National Constitution Center with an American audience and a panel of politicians and prominent commentators.

The Question Time US election special aims to provide American voters with the opportunity to question the panel on crucial election topics such as the economy, immigration, abortion, and foreign affairs. The character and policy preferences of presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will also be under scrutiny.

Fiona Bruce said, "Question Time is unique in its ability to hold politicians to account and encourage debate between those in power and the voters. The world is watching America and with just a few weeks until polling day, Question Time’s format will create a lively discussion which may be distinctly challenging for the US politicians who aren’t regularly quizzed by the public on live TV."

The show will be recorded on Wednesday, October 9, and broadcast on Thursday, October 10, at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The panel details will be confirmed soon. The program will also be broadcast to local and national audiences in the US and will be available to watch live on the BBC North America news pages.

**** Philadelphia Applicants: We will be calling applicants between now and the recording date Wednesday 9th October, please be available to take our call. As we expect a high interest we apologise if we are unable to make contact. ****
