>Ephrata Man Waives Prelim For Alleged Sexual Abuse To Child Relative
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A Ephrata man has waived his preliminary hearing on child sexual abuse charges that reportedly involved a young relative. The Lancaster County D-A's office says 59-year-old Amos Ebersol appeared in court last week after he was charged for inappropriately touching a relative who is a minor. The charges go back to October of 2022 when Ephrata Borough Police say they began investigating Ebersol. After they spoke with the victim, three others came forward saying they were subjected to Ebersol's repeated abuse. The 18 charges he faces include rape, incest and aggravated indecent assault.
