World-Class Archers Competing in Manheim

(Lancaster County, PA) - A Smoketown native is on her way to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris after competing in the Lancaster Archery Classic this week. Casey Kaufhold has returned to the area for the competition after winning the event last year. The 20-year-old is already the top women's archer in the U.S. and is competing for the top spot in the world. Brady Ellison, who is a multiple men's Olympic medalist, is also competing this week. The Lancaster Archery Classic is the largest indoor archery tournament on the East Coast and is hosting nearly three-thousand athletes through Sunday at Spooky Nook Sports.
