Trio Faces Felony Charges For Fake Insurance Claims

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Three people face felony charges in Cumberland County for allegedly submitting fake insurance claims involving damaged cars. Prosecutors have filed over a dozen felony charges against Kevin Hartung of Somerset, Kwa'rai Samuel of New Bloomfield and Lori Fish, who is from Dillsburg. The state Attorney General's office says the charges come after a grand jury investigation revealed the trio allegedly worked together to steal more than 300-thousand dollars. Officials say they submitted nearly 30 policies to four different insurance companies. They also allegedly falsified accident reports and submitted paperwork through two fake auto body shops.
