Dauphin County D-A Taking Over Police-Involved Shooting in Harrisburg

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Dauphin County District Attorney's Office has taken over the investigation of an officer-involved shooting in Harrisburg. The County Criminal Investigative Division is also assisting after the shooting Wednesday afternoon near the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. The suspect, Jacob Bucher The Third, reportedly fired at a Harrisburg Police officer who had told him to stop walking away from him. The officer was not hit but he returned fire and struck Bucher. He was taken into custody after another officer tasered him. Bucher has not been arraigned yet as he's still in the hospital.
